The Pat Vegas Show KCLA 99.3 FM Los Angeles (Redbone) Carroll Bryant

Hey everyone, I just wanted to announce that Pat Vegas, bass player for the 70's hit band, "Redbone", will soon be playing Carroll Bryant songs on his weekly radio show on KCLA FM 99.3 in Los Angeles.

This is really exciting and I wish to thank Mr. Vegas for this amazing opportunity. If you would like to listen to Pat's show, he appears every Sunday. If you're not in the Los Angeles area, then worry not, you can check out his show through the internet. Here is a link: KCLA 99.3 FM

I will be sending him my CD's this Monday and with any luck, by Sunday, March 13th, you'll be able to hear one of my songs on the radio.

When you get to KCLA's website, just click on "Listen" and then click the banner that appears.

Next time I get to talk with Mr. Vegas, I will ask him if he would like to be interviewed for my blog. I think it would be fascinating to learn what it was like to be the first Native American band to top the charts in America.

In honor of Mr. Vegas and "Redbone", here is a video of them performing their 1974 hit, "Come and Get Your Love", the song that eventually inspired my first published book, "Children of the Flower Power".
